Very Good
Good Location. We could visit the whole oldtown by foot. Breakfast was fine. Garage for the Car nearby
The air condicion did not work properly.. It was hot in our room. The hair dryer didn't work either.

Superb value for money hotel in central Funchal
A well kept little hotel with modern deco, and super friendly staff. As I booked room for a single occupant,, I expected a tiny place, but instead I was given an apartment with kitchen, diner, living room, etc.. I was really surprised. it would have been enough for a family with kids. My apartment had quite an unusual shape. I think it was made by connecting the leftover places in the building, and I totally loved its irregular shapes. When I first entered, I almost walked into a mirror, thinking it was another room, and then I almost dismissed the living room as just another mirror It's a fun place. the location is very convenient, a few minutes walk to the heart of central Funchal. my room was quite at night. The breakfast was lovely, and staff really attentive.
There are 3 things that I can mention, but to fairness, none of these are terrible things, only mild inconveniences. The wi-fi was a little weak, and occasionally intermittent, meanwhile my phone signal was also a little weak in the room. You might have a different experience in a different room. The built-in air-con was working, but to only a very subtle effect. When I visited Madeira it was an average 24 C, which didn't go down much at night, maybe to 20 C. It's not extreme, but I'm used to sleeping in colder temperatures. After running the aircon for an hour, the room temperature might have dropped by a couple of C degrees, but It wasn't very obvious. As my clothes got creased in my bag, I would have appreciated an iron + iron board. Perhaps if I had asked for one, I would have got one, but I just made friends with my creased clothes instead. Again, these little disadvantages are nothing compared to the plenty of positives.

The breakfast was nice and varied, the location was excellent and the staff were extremely nice and help- particularly Roberto
The bathroom was all glass so if you weren’t that comfortable with the person you were sharing with it might be a bit awkward!
